Swooping over BBC Broadcasting House and providing a bird’s-eye view of its rooftops, Flight was captured using a camera attached to a model remote-control helicopter. The film was shot in one take, lasting just a few minutes, with the helicopter following a circular looping path, soaring over the roof of the Broadcasting House extension, onto Langham Street and around the cooling tower and aerials, which are the main point of transmission for the BBC’s radio output from this location.
In Flight the image is revolving the whole time as well as the helicopter circling the roof. Because the flight is so circular and dipping and rising, you don't notice the revolving, it just seems like part of the helicopter's movement.
