Atmosphere is a topic that commands increasing attention not only with respect to climate change but also in the humanities, particularly in philosophy, design, and the arts. Besides its climatological meaning, atmosphere indicates the pervading tone, mood, or ambience of a place, situation, or work of art
We differentiated the word sense into three transversal fields to define dizziness: sensory input (stands for the corporeal aspect of dizziness), emotion (the emotional spectrum of dizziness), and meaning. Along these three transversal fields of sense, we will discuss the phenomenon and concept of dizziness, bringing together different disciplinary viewpoints and connections to verticality.
The Institute for Medical & Health Humanities and Artistic Research organizes events online and at different locations for the exchange about current projects and initiatives. It wants to contribute to the further development of the discourses in the field of the Medical & Health Humanities, but focus in particular on the manifold connections between the Medical & Health Humanities and artistic research.
