For a decade, I’ve been collapsing on asphalt, concrete and stone.
Last year my life [as I thought I knew it] collapsed. Everything [I thought I wanted] dissolved.
The flood, visited on you, builds the force of the maelstrom.
Capsizing, spinning into uncertainty, gut-brain becomes the rudder.
All the dams ourcreature-beings craved / chattering of forgetfulness / now, liquidated.
Urgently leaning into the edge of my sole, here fear accumulates,
A fake currency paid for by thinking life’s rhythm was knowable.
Wandering in soggy carbon sinks where spiral time steeps the dark tannins
Spring of the mossybogland, ancient belly that multiplies breathes loves
Afterbirth woven in molecules of light Wet ~ Tendrils ~ TRUST
What happens after collapse?
We might be funambulists teetering into puddles
Somnambulists dancing the tempos of dream time
